Title: Verification Engineer
Reports to: VP of Operations

As an engineering team member, you will contribute to the pre-silicon verification of Altior's range of hardware protocol acceleration solutions for data networking and enterprise storage applications.

Responsibilities

• Developing unit/core/system level testbench, BFMs(Bus Functional Models), checkers and assertions using verification standard methodologies.
• Interfacing with the architecture/design team to develop and execute testplans.
• Writing directed and random testcases, debugging failures, filing and closing bugs.
• Writing, analyzing and achieving coverage metrics.
• Developing verification environment scripts, tools and flows, as needed.
• Apply advanced techniques to achieve verification with the highest quality, productivity, and time-to-market

Qualifications

• BSEE with 7+ (or MSEE with 5+) years related experience

Experience

• Excellent knowledge of communication systems and high speed digital circuit verification
• Experience using advanced verification methodologies (such as UVM, OVM, System Verilog, constrained-random stimulus generation, assertion-based verification, and functional coverage techniques)
• Good Knowledge in languages relevant to the ASIC/FPGA development process including, Unix Scripting, Perl and C/C++
• Working experience needs to demonstrate the technical expertise in successful completion of multiple ASIC/FPGA projects
• Working knowledge of Compression, Encryption, Hashing, SSL, MACSec or IPSec, and PCIe protocol is highly desirable
• Strong analytical, and problem solving skills as well as debugging skills
• Excellent knowledge of RTL design and simulation
• Self-motivated, excellent communication skills and ability to excel in a team environment
