Digital IP/IC Designer

Job Details:

Position Responsibilities

• exploration of alternative architectures and designs to meet market / customer requirements
• development of IP cores for the networking, storage and mobile markets (examples include compression, encryption, codecs, network offload)
• test bench development and execution
• support of customer design activity
• Customer-related travel

Qualifications

• BSEE degree, MSEE preferred.
• Minimum 5 years ASIC and/or FPGA design experience.
• Strong knowledge of the 'C' programming language.
• Good working knowledge of Verilog RTL.
• Strong familiarity with Unix/Linux-based development environments.
• Practical experience with ESL flows highly preferred.
• Experience writing complex test benches.
• Experience using hardware simulators, synthesis tools, etc.
• A spirit of innovation, risk-taking and continued learning.
