
Ramana Jampala, President-CEO
Ramana has 17 years of work experience in the technology sector, ranging from design engineering to venture investing in technology start-ups. Most recently, Ramana was a general partner with SAS Investors, a technology focused Venture Capital fund. Prior to that, he worked with Viant as a strategy lead in San Francisco to implement digital initiatives of Fortune 500 companies and high-technology start-ups. Ramana began his career at Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) in the Control and Communications Group, working as a systems design engineer for seven years. He has also served as a board member of HydroGlobe (acquired by Graver Technologies) and Reactive Nanotechnologies. Currently, Ramana is a member of the board of directors of CebaTech, Velox Semiconductor, and Lightspeed Audio. Ramana holds an MBA from London Business School and graduated with distinction with a BS in Electronics Engineering from Pune University, India.
Robert Zecha, Vice President of Operations
Rob has over 20 years experience leading high-technology companies both systems level and semiconductor in the networking market space. In his last position at SMSC, a fabless semiconductor company, Rob held VP roles in marketing, business development and engineering, and was responsible for an $80 million networking product line including the re-organization of the S/W, H/W, QA and Product Test teams. He has been successful as an entrepreneur taking a venture-backed networking company to acquisition as its President and then became VP of Worldwide Engineering and Corporate Officer leading the H/W and S/W development of Gigabit routing Ethernet switches while taking them into production. He is a member of the IEEE, past steering team member at the UNH Labs for Token Ring and a past member of the ANSI X3T9.5 committee for FDDI. He holds a BSEE from Polytechnic University.
Jim Carlson, Sr. Director of Sales
Jim has over 25 years of experience in the storage market having spent 20+ years at Seagate in a variety of sales management and business development positions across both OEM and Distribution accounts. He also spent time developing the Consumer Electronic market for storage. His most recent position was as Vice President Business Development at Xyratex, where he focused on bringing on new customers along with working mergers and acquisitions. He holds a B.A from Humboldt State University. Jim currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area.
